Punalu'u Black Sand Beach Park
Punalu'u Black Sand Beach, is one of the many beautiful Hawaii Big Island Beaches... It is one of the most well known black sand beaches on the island, and one of the most accessible.
This is a great place for swimming, boogie boarding, and snorkeling. I've also seen people fishing every time I've been there.
And... you can camp here! Right on the beach. There are fire pits and places to have a BBQ, picnic tables, bathrooms, showers. Also, the Sea Mountain Golf Course is just up the street.
While you are there, there's a good chance you will get to see turtles sun bathing on the shore... Punalu'u is famous for it's turtles.
