One of the few decently priced resorts on Maui, is the Kaanapali Shores Resort.

This is actually the hotel that me and my family stayed in when we visited Hawaii for the first time.
I don't remember it all that much,(I was a pretty young at the time,) but my parents loved it. The hotel is on Kaanapali Beach - my dads favorite beach on the island.
We didn't need a really fancy hotel.. just a decent place to stay so we could spend most of our time playing in Maui.
So, why do I recommend this hotel?
- Decent price,
- It is right on the beach.. you walk out the door, and it's there!
- It has two pools and two hottubs,
- There is room service, and high speed internet.
Don't expect a star resort feel.. This is no luxury resort, but it's definitely not a bad place to stay, especially if you're on a budget.
As long as you want to to visit Maui, and not, a hotel in Maui, you will enjoy you're stay here.
