Kauai Beaches

Kauai beaches offer a variety of unique and memorable experiences. With the tropical breezes, the sun shining above you, and an endless list of water activities to choose from, you will never want to leave.

Share your Hawaii beach stories with future visitors!

Does surfing, boogie boarding, or windsurfing sound appealing? Or would your rather bask in the sun after frolicking in the waves a bit? Perhaps you would enjoy a day on the water while kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, or renting a boat. You can do it all in Kauai!

North Shore Beaches are usually calmest during the summer months (April to September.)

South Shore Beaches are usually calmest during the winter months, (October to May.)

Generally beach conditions are better in the morning and early afternoon. (There also happens to be quite a lot less people earlier in the day.) But make sure to protect yourself from the sun! This is when you will fry most easily.

There are many beautiful shores to discover on Kauai, all looking like a slice of paradise. However, don’t forget that the ocean is a powerful force of nature. Always use your common sense and good judgment when venturing to these places.
