It is romantic and (somewhat) secluded..perfect for a romatic vacation.
But the resort itself also has lots of things to keep you busy. There is something for everyone, making it a terrific place to bring the whole family as well.

If you really want to see the Island... this may not be the best choice for you. Wailea is the furthest point on the south shore of Maui, and anywhere you want to see will be at least a half hours drive, maybe more. But, if you want a luxurious tropical vacation, (and can afford it) you will more than likely enjoy yourself here.
