Uncle Billys and The Royal Grove

When I went to Hawaii, I was really just looking for a decent place to sleep, and didn't want to spend much on hotels. I spent about a week on Oahu at the Royal Grove, and a few days at Uncle Billys on the Big Island in Kona. Considering the price, they were not bad at all, and I wasn't expecting much to begin with. There really was nothing wrong with them, they just weren't anything super special.

I tried to go to as many beaches and do as much sight seeing as I could while I was there. My favorite on Oahu was Hanauma Bay. Great place to swim.

I wish I had stayed longer on the Big Island, and that I hadn't stayed in Kona the whole time. I found out once I got there that all the "cool stuff" is on the other side of the island.. like the volcano, and such. But I did like Mauna Kea Beach a lot. Very calm and not as busy as Hapuna. Next time I go back, I'm staying in Hilo.
